Cookies Policy

Last updated: 25 May 2026 · Version 1.0 (draft)

Draft notice. This policy is a working draft prepared by 8i Studio and is pending review by qualified legal counsel before it is treated as final. If you spot anything you'd like clarified, email hello@8istudio.com.

1. The short version

Our public marketing site (8istudio.com) is deliberately minimal: we do not run analytics, tracking pixels or advertising cookies on the marketing site itself. The only cookies you'll see come from third-party services we embed or link to, and from our own internal app if you log in.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website (or a service the website loads) stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixels. They're commonly used to remember preferences, keep you logged in, or measure how a site is used.

3. Cookies on this website

3.1 Strictly necessary

None set by us on the public marketing site.

3.2 Performance & analytics

None set by us on the public marketing site.

3.3 Marketing / advertising

None set by us on the public marketing site.

3.4 Third-party services we load or link to

  • Google Fonts – serves the Plus Jakarta Sans typeface. Google receives basic request information (IP, user agent) when fonts load. Google privacy
  • cdnjs / jsdelivr – serves the animation libraries (GSAP, Lenis) used for scroll and motion. These are open CDNs and may log basic request information.
  • Calendly – when you click "Book a call" you are taken to Calendly, which sets its own cookies. See Calendly's cookie notice.
  • Resend – used to deliver email from our contact form; does not set cookies on this site.

3.5 Our internal app (Studio app)

If you log in to our internal client app (a separate path on the site) we set a strictly-necessary session cookie called session_token to keep you signed in. This is required for the app to work and is not used for tracking.

4. How to control cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies entirely. Blocking cookies will not stop you from using our public marketing site, but it may break parts of the internal app if you log in.

5. Changes to this policy

If we introduce new cookies or analytics in the future, we'll update this page and (where required) ask for your consent via a cookie banner first.
