This site is operated by 8i Studio, a trading name of Seven Marketing Agency Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, Seven Marketing Agency Ltd (trading as 8i Studio) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our client services.
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights. It covers:
- Visitors to our marketing website (8istudio.com)
- People who contact us via our contact form, email or Calendly
- Clients and prospective clients of our consulting, outreach and onboarding services
3. Personal data we collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, company, team size, area of interest and the message you write.
- Discovery calls: when you book via Calendly we receive your name, email and any answers to call questions you provide.
- Client engagements: business contact details, role, scope details, fact-find responses and any files you upload to our client portal.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address (used briefly for spam/rate-limiting on our contact form), browser type and operating system.
- Hosting logs: standard web-server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and diagnostic purposes.
3.3 Information from third parties
For our managed outreach service, where clients instruct us to act on their behalf, we receive contact data from third-party tools such as Prosp.ai (LinkedIn-based outreach) and from publicly available business sources (e.g. LinkedIn profile URLs, company websites).

5. Who we share data with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers that help us run the business, under appropriate contracts:
- Resend – sends transactional email (e.g. responses to your contact form). Resend privacy
- Calendly – handles discovery-call bookings. Calendly privacy
- Replit (hosting & database) – hosts this website and our internal systems. Replit privacy
- Prosp.ai – LinkedIn outreach platform (used for managed outreach clients). Prosp.ai
- Google Fonts – serves the typeface used on this site.
- Professional advisers – accountants, lawyers and insurers, where needed.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK/EEA. Where we transfer your data internationally, we rely on UK-approved safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent).
6. How long we keep your data
- Contact form enquiries: typically 24 months from last contact, then deleted unless we are working together.
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years (statutory record-keeping for accounting and tax).
- Server & rate-limit logs: short-lived, usually 30 days or less.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Ask us to erase your data (in certain circumstances)
- Restrict or object to our processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the basis)
